Licor de limon
Made from lemons grown in our own garden. It can be served on its own as a after-dinner drink (ice cold) or
mixed with some cava and a sprig of mint to make a Limoncello Spritz – a delicious and refreshing aperitif.

Aceite de olivo
We offer 100% pure extra-virgin olive oil, pressed from our own olive trees on the Cortijo.
It has a mellow flavour that stays in your cheeks (so to speak) and a fragrance that makes you think of grass and leaves.
This oil is pressed immediately after the olives are harvested in early November.
You will probably see white flakes (and sediment)
floating in our fresh, unfiltered olive oil until it has aged a few months. There is no reason to be alarmed by the appearance of these white flakes.
This is perfectly normal in freshly pressed olive oil and connoisseurs know that they are a sign of outstanding quality. The flakes will disappear after a few months.

The sediment at the bottom of the bottle consists primarily of bits of olive flesh, phospholipids and wax, all of which are normally present in unfiltered olive oil. The presence of this sediment, which is very rich in protein, also serves as proof of the oil’s excellent quality.
If you store our freshly pressed olive oil at low temperatures, you will notice that it has thickened and is difficult to pour. This is because the oil (the fat in the oil, actually) hardens at low temperatures. It resembles a murky, green mass with tiny bubbles in it. This is a good way to recognise the quality of olive oil. Once the oil has been brought to room temperature it will become transparent again after a few days. You will, however, always find a little white sediment at the bottom of the bottle. This does not mean that there is anything wrong with the oil; once again, it is only a sign of its outstanding QUALITY.

Olive oil is rich in Vitamin E, and extra-virgin olive oil is full of antioxidants and 70% of its composition comprises simple unsaturated fatty acids. Unsaturated fats are known for their favourable effects on your health and LDL cholesterol-lowering properties. As a result, people who use olive oil rather than saturated fats have a smaller chance of contracting cardiovascular diseases. Olive oil is simply very good for you!
